17/09/16 - *** Members Notice *** On Monday 3rd October the padlock on the gate to the outside range will be changed to a 5 barrel combination lock. This change is being done at the request of the landowner due to the number of keys outstanding with former members.
In addition to the above range access will fall into line with the times previously followed at the indoor range (ie. Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings and a Friday afternoon). The range will also, on occasion, be opened during the weekends and these dates will be notified via the website.
Note: During adverse weather conditions the above club sessions may be cancelled at short notice - please consult the club website for details of the sessions before travelling
During the club sessions an assigned member will be available to open the range car park and start/stop the generator however it WILL NOT be their role to set up or close the range (ie. range flag, air bottles, target painting) - this responsibility remains with any members/probationers using the facilities.
PS. Please retain your range key as you will need it to access the port-a-loo as due to misuse by non members this will now be locked.
NOTE: In the event of no members arriving at the range within a reasonable period of time after the start of the session the assigned member WILL NOT be required to remain on-site for the full length of the session. ie. If you turn up at the range at 8.30pm on an evening shoot for a half hour practice the range may already be closed.
If your situation will only allow you to attend the range from 8.30 pm onwards please post a message on the FB page to arrange in advance for the range to be open at this time.
02/12/15 *** Members Notice *** After a review of our insurance policy we have been informed that visitors are not covered under our insurance, as such NO VISITORS ARE ALLOWED AT THE CLUB UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
